'Philipps Baggott Whinfield, eldest son of the Revd William Whinfield, Vicar of this Parish. At the age of ...years, 11 of which he served as Lieutenant in His Majesty's Navy, he died on the 19th of January 1820. Also Horatio Brabayon, fifth son of the Revd William Whinfield who, while pursuing the career of Naval Service and aspiring to its Honours, was translated thence to a brighter sphere of action & reward on the 6th day of October 1820 in the 22nd year of his age. Arrived at the Haven of Everlasting Rest, no longer buffetted by winds and waves & stormy seas, they departed this life with pious resignation & holy faith in the Redeemer...'

Description: Round sarcophagus on square inscribed plinth. The sarcophagus has lion's head terminals and paw feet. The sides are carved with waved fluting and pilasters. A carved panel shows a figure representing Peace seated on the trophies of war and indicating her benefits in the form of trade (a ship being loaded with cargo). 'In loving memory of Mr Richard Meehan, Native of the city of Limerick, who died in Guernsey 27 October 1842 aged 76 years. Mr Meehan spent the greater part of his life in the British Navy and was gunner on H.M. Frigate Shannon at the time this vessel engaged and captured the United States Frigate Chesapeake on the [1 June 1813]. His behaviour on that glorious occasion and his general conduct were so highly estimated by Captain Brooke and the officers of the Shannon that they presented him with a silver tea service. Mr Meehan had resided upward of 25 years in this island and was higly respected by all classes. This tribute was erected by public subscription'
