Details

Description: Round sarcophagus on square inscribed plinth. The sarcophagus has lion's head terminals and paw feet. The sides are carved with waved fluting and pilasters. A carved panel shows a figure representing Peace seated on the trophies of war and indicating her benefits in the form of trade (a ship being loaded with cargo). Alternative reliefs show a bust of Keene. The plinth is carved with a garlanded ox skull
