'SACRED TO THE MEMORY OF / SIR EDWARD BERRY, BARONET, / KNIGHT COMMANDER OF THE MOST HONORABLE AND MILITARY ORDER / OF THE BATH, / AND REAR ADMIRAL OF THE RED SQUADRON OF HIS MAJESTY'S FLEET. / HE DEPARTED THIS LIFE 13TH OF FEBRUARY 1831 / IN THE 63RD YEAR OF HIS AGE. / THE DISTINGUISHED SERVICES OF SIR EDWARD BERRY / ARE RECORDED IN THE ANNALS OF HIS COUNTRY. / HE WAS THE FRIEND AND COMPANION OF LORD NELSON, UNDER WHOSE COMMAND / HE FOUGHT AT THE BATTLES OF ST VINCENT, THE NILE AND TRAFALGAR; / HE COMMANDED H.M.
