'In loving memory of / G Campbell / Master Mariner / Late of Aberdeen / who died July 30th 1887 aged 48 / Weep for a seaman, honest and sincere / Not cast away but brought to anchor here / Storm has overwhelmed him but... /.../ Repented and consigned him to the grave / In harbour safe from shipwreck now he lies / Till time's last signal blazes through the skies / Refitted in a moment shall he be / Sail from this port on an eternal sea / Also of Amelia Heath Campbell / beloved wife of the above / Died Aug 15th 1928 aged 78 / Also of their son / George Spencer Campbell / Killed in action in Arras April 21st 1917 / Reunited'
