'In loving memory of / Charles / son of Edward & Ann Jenkins / Who died Feb 12th 1901 / on board S.S. Shakespeare / Aged 19 years / and was buried at sea off Cape Finisterre / S W Bay of Biscay / In perfect health he left his home / Not thinking that his time had come / But sudden death from God was sent / To bring him to His judgement seat / Also of ANN / beloved wife of the above / Edward Jenkins / who died May 1st 1903, Aged 58 years / I was weary and He gave me rest / Also the above / Edward Jenkins / who died May 25th 1919/ Aged 77 years.'
