' IN THANKFULNESS TO GOD / and ever loving remembrance of / IVON GORDON FELLOWES / Midshipman Royal Navy / youngest son of Rear Admiral / Sir Thomas H B Fellowes KCB / Killed in action on board / HMS Irresistible in the Straits / of the Dardanelles on March 18th 1915 / Aged 17. / Greater love hath no man than this that / a man lay down his life for his friends.'

Description: Rectangular copper plate with an armorial badge at above the inscription an an anchor below.This monument is close to a door. On the other side of the door lintel is a very similar tablet to his brother, a young Guards officer also killed in WW1.
