Notes: The most common cause of death of those known to have died during the construction and launch of Titanic was accidental falls and complications caused by falls. Billy Clarke, died of broncho pneumonia after falling from staging. John Kelly fell from ship 401 and died of shock from his injuries. Sam Scott fell 23 feet from a ladder (or staging) and died instantly. Bob Murphy also died of shock following a fall.
