‘Sacred to the Memory of / WILLIAM LUTWYCHE ESR / Who joined to sincere Christian / Piety, possessed all that Learning / and Urbanity / which so particularly distinguish the character of a / Scholar and a Gentleman. / He departed this life / most deeply regretted / on the 23rd of Feby. 1823 / having nearly completed / his 79th year / SOPHIA LADY BAYNTUN, / Wife of /Admiral / Sir HENRY WILLIAM BAYNTUN, K.C.B. / and Niece of the above named / WILLIAM LUTWYCHE Esqr. / who died the 16th of Septr. 1830 Aged 53. / Admiral / Sir HENRY WILLIAM BAYNTUN, K.C.B. who died the 16TH of Decr 1840 Aged 75 / Also MARY / Widow of above named / William Lutwyche, Esqr. / who departed this life / the 22nd of Feby 1845 Aged 92.’
