'To the memory of Mr George Minor / of the H.C. Pilot Service, Obit 29th July 1824 / aged 28 years and 10 months / Lord I commit my soul to thee / Accept the sacred trust / Receive the nobler part of me / and watch my sleeping dust / This stone is erected by his afflicted widow.'
