'In memory of Alexr Dewar, fourth son of Angus and Elizabeth DEWAR, born at Lochgilphead, Argyllshire, Scotland, 19th February 1847, died 14th March 1887. He shall enter into peace - Isaiah. So fades a summer cloud away So sinks the gale when storms are o'er So gently shuts the eye of day So dies a wave along the shore Erected by the Officers and Engineers of the S.S. Sassoon'
