NEMBHARD, / OF THE ISLAND OF JAMAICA; / LATE OF HER MAJESTY'S STEAM SHIP VESUVIUS, / WHO DIED OFF GIBRALTER, [sic] JUNE 19TH 1844, AGED 33, / AND WAS THERE BURIED. / THIS TABLET WAS PLACED HERE, BY HIS FRIENDS / JOHN AND CATHERINE KAYE, OF FULMER GROVE, IN THIS PARISH, / TO RECORD HIS WORTH / AND THEIR AFFECTION AND REGRET.'
