'Sacred to the memory of Caroline the beloved wife of George Watts who died 25 August 1840 aged 28 years. Also William Richard and Caroline Elizabeth their two infant children also Eliza second beloved wife of the above who died 15th Feb. 1881 aged 67 years; Also in loving commemoration of the above George Watts who died 19th June 1897 in his 77 year and of E.J. Watts elder son of the above who perished in the wreck of the S.S. Stella, March 30th 1899, aged 37 years.'
