'Sacred to the memory of Capt. William Ranwell, 60 years in the Royal Navy, who died at his residence La Follie, St Saviours Road on the 30th April 1868 in his 80th year 'His end was peace'. Also Sarah Elizabeth Ranwell, widow of the above born 11 May 1787. Died at La Follie 18th May 1874. 'Her children rise up and call her blessed".
