'WITHIN A VAULT IN THIS AISLE / ARE DEPOSITED THE MORTAL REMAINS OF / GEORGIANA ELIZABETH TURNER / WIFE OF LIEUTENANT JELLICOE TURNER, OF THE ROYAL NAVY, / DAUGHTER OF THE LATE REVD CHARLES WALKER / RECTOR OF COSGROVE, NORTHAMPTONSHIRE / AND GRAND DAUGHTER OF THE REVD DOCTOR JOHN WALKER / DEAN OF BOCKING IN ESSEX / SHE DEPARTED THIS LIFE ON THE 9TH OF DECEMBER 1832, / AGED SIXTY YEARS. / ALSO OF / CAPTAIN JELLICOE TURNER, R.N. / HUSBAND OF THE ABOVE, AND FOURTH SON OF THE LATE / CHARLES TURNER, ESQUIRE, / OF MOUNTHILL HOUSE, ROCHESTER, KENT, WHO DEPARTED / THIS LIFE ON THE 4TH OF JUNE 1844 AGED 59 YEARS.'

Details

Description: In shape of sarcophagus with acroteria, supported on lion's paw feet, a draped urn above. The inscription tablet is flanked by fluted pilasters. The whole is supported on a plinth with guilloche decoration, brackets below carved with acanthus leaves. The arms of Turner impaling Walker are carved on the apron with palm branches in place of supporters.
