‘In Loving Memory of / ROBERT MILLER, R.N.R / who died at / Littlehampton Red Cross Hospital / October 11th 1918, Aged 22 Years. / Also of / WILLIAM MILLER / Brother of the above / Who was blown up by a mine / At sea from HMS Minesweeper “Birch” / August 23rd 1916, Aged 22 Years. / The dearly beloved son of / JOHN & ELLEN MILLER. / It’s sweet to know we’ll meet again / where partings are no more / and that our boys we loved so well / are only gone before.'
