'To the Glory of God / and in Loving Memory of / GENERAL HUBERT LE COCQ COLONEL COMMANDANT ROYAL ARTILLERY / BORN 14TH APRIL 1833, DIED 15TH FEBRUARY 1911 / SERVED WITH THE 3RD TROOP BOMBAY HORSE ARTILLERY / DURING THE PERSIAN WAR 1856,1857 AND THE INDIAN MUTINY CAMPAIGN / 1857 AND 1858. / RECEIVED THE THANKS OF THE GOVERNOR OF BOMBAY IN COUNCIL / AND THE SILVER MEDAL OF THE SHIPWRECKED MARINERS / ROYAL BENEVOLENT SOCIETY / FOR HIS GALLANT CONDUCT AT THE WRECK OF THE TROOPSHIP JULIA / AT KURRACHEE IN 1857. / JURAT OF THE ROYAL COURT OF GUERNSEY FROM 1892 TO 1908.'

Description: The top of the tablet in the shape of a gothic arch. Memorial with Royal Artillery badge and mottos 'UBIQUE', 'QUO FAS ET GLORIA DUCENT'. 'To the Glory of God 'and 'In memory of' in gothic lettering.
