'Sacred to the memory of JOHN MOORE, Esqr, R.N. and for 17 years collector of H.M. Customs at the port of Woodbridge, who died May 21st 1842, aged 71, a man that's upright honest and sincere is blessed in the sight of God, whose dust is buried her.'
