'Sacred to the memory of ENGLISH HATCH, Master Mariner, he departed this life, the 29th March 1840 Aged 59 years. Also FRANCES his wife who died the 11th January 1849, aged 70 years / Blessed are the dead that die in the Lord from henceforth, Yea saith the spirit, that they may rest from their labours and their works do follow them Rev. Chap 14 13'
