'Sacred to the Memory of WILLIAM BURTON Esq. / the last of the respectable family of that name / in the county of RUTLAND / who died September 29th 1817 / Aged 80 Years. / He was without Guile / Candour and Truth marked him / for their own / Also Mary Wife of the above / who departed this life Decr. 25th 1828 Aged 78 Years' [panel below] 'Also of WILLIAM HENRY STRANGWAYS R.M. / Nephew of the above; who died at Bath, 3rd January 1841 / Aged 53 Years / Also of MARIANNE his Widow, who died at Brighton / 10th March 1872, and was buried at Norwood; Surrey / Aged 63 Years'
