Notes: HMS 'Prince of Wales' and HMS 'Repulse' were sunk by Japanese war planes in 1941. Of the 2,921 crew, the majority were rescued, however 326 men lost their lives. Admiral Sir Tom Phillips was one of the highest ranking Allied officers killed during WWII.
