'... His Majesty's Dockyard Woolwich, she died Aug. 22.1736 aged 40, and of the above, Mr John Henslow who died Oct 9th 1742 aged 62 and three of their children, John 3 May 1728 aged 3, Ann 6 Jan 1736 10 months, Mary 6 Jun 1746 20. Frances HENSLOW wife of Mr John HENSLOW, son of the first named John HENSLOW, master boat builder of the same yard, she died March 18th 1764 aged 36, also two of their children viz Charlotte 4 Apl 1762 aged 6 months, Frances 19 March 1763 4 years, also of Ann HENSLOW second wife of the above mentioned John HENSLOW. Sir John Henslow, surveyor of his Majesty's Navy, he died Apl. 8th 1805 aged 63. Frances Henslow youngest daughter of the before mentioned Sir John Henslow and Ann his wife who died 3 March 1854 aged 85 years. Sir John HENSLOW Knt who having sedulously and faithfully served the public upward of 62 years retired from the chief office of his profession, surveyor of His Maj. Navy in July 1806 to Sittingbourne in this county where he passed the residue of his lifetime in the practice of every Christian and social virtue and where he died on 22 Sept 1815 aged 85 years'
