'To / the Memory of / Captain Edward COLLINS / Who / was drown'd in Emsworth harbour / By his Boat overseting / on the 17th August 1785, / Aged 56 Years / In Emsworth Harbour I was drown'd / For many Hours could not be found / But by the Peoples watchful care / Was taken up and Buried here'
