'In memory of Acheson French, Capt in her Majesty's 1st. Foot Guards, who departed this life October 6th 1860, aged 72 years. Also EDWARD, 2nd. son of the above who was lost in a collision off the port, 16 Nov. 1871 whilst on a pleasure trip, aged 28 years'.
