'To the glory of God and in loving memory of / William O'Bryan Hoare Esqre, Captain Royal Navy, / Second son of Sir Joseph Wallis Hoare Bart. and the Lady Harriet Hoare / Born at Youghal Co. Cork, Ireland, and entered into rest at Worthing, Sussex, / 26th March 1886 / This memorial is erected by his sorrowing Child Mary L. Hoare. /'God is our God for ever and ever.
