'...Here also lyes the Body of her son Charles Townsend Esqr who died Jan 6th 1765 aged 38 years. Also the Body of her Husband Isaac Townsend Esqr. Admiral of the White Squadron of His Majesty's fleet. Governor of the Royal Hospital for Seamen at Greenwich. Member of several Parliaments for Portsmouth and Rochester. An Elder Brother of the Trinity House and Fellow of the Royal Society he died Nov 22nd 1765 Aged 80 years'
