CHARLES BURNE / WHO DIED ON THE 24th SEPTEMBER / 1859 AGED 75 YEARS / HE WAS RECTOR OF THIS PARISH 44 YEARS / AND WAS GREATLY BELOVED AND / RESPECTED BY HIS PARISHIONERS / AND DEEPLY LAMENTED / BY HIS FAMILY AND LARGE CIRCLE OF FRIENDS / HE WAS SENIOR CHAPLAIN / IN THE ROYAL NAVY AND WAS PRESENT AT / THE BATTLE OF TRAFALGAR IN H.M.S.
