'Within / these Walls / lie interred the remains of / ROBRT YOUNG who faithfully discharg'd the / duty of an officer in the Dock Yard in this / Parish near 40 Years, and departed this life / March 12 : 1732. aged 70. He was Son of / Captain BENJAMIN YOUNG, Commander of, / and Slain in His Majesty's Ship Advice A.D. 1670 / fighting in defence of his King and Country. / Unaffected Piety, and Strict Justice, Compassion to / the poor and Benevolence to all, were qualitys / which adorned His character. He was Industrious / in and handsomly Contributed to the Enlarging / and beautifying this Church / The Remains of Mrs ANN YOUNG who departed / this life January 21 1741 aged 78, lie interr'd / near those of Mr ROBERT YOUNG her Husband. / She was Daughter of GEORGE WOODYEAR of Shorn / in the County of Kent Esqr. a Woman excell'd by few or none. / They were eminent examples of Conjugal affection / and fidelity. Of their Children, a Son and a Daughter / were interr'd here, Six Sons and one Daughter Survived them / In duty and gratitude their Children pay this / small tribute to the Memory of their worthy Parents'

Description: Three cherubs heads in clouds above the inscription which is flanked by pilasters. There is a broken pediment above with an urn in the centre, arms on the apron below.
