'In / loving memory / of / WILLIAM WALTON GRANT / died March 7th 1913 aged 50 years / also JANE widow of the above / died July 4th 1915 / aged 50 years / also WILLIAM ARTHUR their third son / aged 20 years / who was drowned in the Mediterranean Sea / consequent upon the loss of the 'Royal Edward' / August 13th 1915 / Also DOUGLAS CHARLES / their infant son / died April 19th 1908 / aged 6 months / Rest in the Lord / Also THOMAS WALTON GRANT / eldest son of the above killed in action in Flanders / September 12th 1917 aged 26 years'
