'Sacred to the memory of R.V. WARREN. Aged 22 years. Murdered on board schooner 'Kappa' by Chinese whilst on voyage to Whampoa from Macao, on the night of the 29th. October 1844. This tribute to his memory is erected by his affectionate brother H.V. Warrren'
