'Sacred to the memory of Walter William PUGH, stoker of H.M.S. 'Humber' who was accidentally drowned whilst bathing off Hung Hom Docks, Hong Kong 20th April 1901. Aged 21 years. In the midst of life we are in death. Erected by the ship's company of H.M.S. Humber.'
