'Sacred to the memory of / The Honble GEORGE MURRAY, / Brother to his Grace John Duke of Athol, / and Vice Admiral of the White in the Navy of Great Britain / He married Wilhelmina, Daughter of the Right Honble Lord King, / and died without issue, October 22nd 1797, / in the 56th Year of his Age / Sincerely regretted by all who knew him/as an honest and Worthy Man, / as well as / an able brave and experienced Officer'

Description: Inscription within pilasters, a cornice above with anthemion acroteria. At the top an urn with a hatched coat of arms in a roundel flanked by naval emblems- an anchor, flags and a laurel wreath.
