Details
Description: Rectangular wall tablet, the inscription in a frame with a beaded edge and round arched top. On either side of the arch are carvings of laurel and oak branches. A medieval ship is carved within the arch. Arms on a shield placed below the inscription: Argent, a chevron between two mullets pierced in chief and an annulet in base sable. The motto 'SUFFICIT MERUISSE' (enough to have served) on a scroll below.
