'Frances beloved wife of Evan Nicholas of this town, Master of the brig Victory and daughter of John & Mary Owen of Rhoswaer, who died 1 July 1843 aged 34. Also John Owen Nicholas, son of the above Evan & Frances Nicholas, who died at sea on board the brig Victory off Cape Glean [?] Ireland, June 20th 1844 aged 12 years. Also David Nicholas, son of the above parents who died at sea on board the brig Victory off the Skillicks Rocks, Ireland, Aug 8th 1840 aged 15 years & 9 months. Also the above Evan Nicholas who died Aug 27th 1877 aged 80 years'
