'Here lieth the body of Capt Thomas Price Commander of the Ceres East Indiaman who died on the 20th of June 1789 aged 43 years. He was a good just and tender father and a sincere friend. Also Mrs Ann Sherrer wife of Mr John Sherrer of Mark Lane and second daughter of the above Capt Thomas Price. Died 4th January 1802 aged 26 years. Also Mrs Ann Price relict of the above Capt Thomas Price. Died 26 January 1805 aged 60 years'
