Notes: The crew of a local fishing smack 'Osprey' sighted the schooner 'Jean Campbell' in distress, a small boat was launched manned by George Wilson, James Abram and George Greenall. It was swamped, sank and only George Wilson was saved. The 'Jean Campbell' was wrecked at Norbreck with three lives lost.
