Description: Two black marble inscription panels flanked by white marble panels carved with armorials and military trophies. The whole supported on brackets in the form of helms. There is a carved shield of arms with a coronet, flanked by anchors below. On the pediment above, a shield of armswith a coronet, flanked by field artillery.

Notes: 1st Earl of Lindsey, Vice-Admiral on expedition to La Rochelle 1627 and Admiral of the ship-money fleet. He served as a military commander during the English Civil War and was killed at the Battle of Edgehill.
