'Sacred to the memory of / the Rev. John Rudall / 14 years Assistant Minister, and 43 years Vicar of / this parish. / He departed this life Sept. 7th 1835, aged 82 / As a tribute of reverential affection, this Tablet / is erected by his surviving children / who here record also / the memory of a beloved Mother / Susanna Rudall wife of the above / She died March 5th 1845 aged 84'
