'UNDERNEATH ARE INTERRED ALL THAT WAS MORTAL / OF SIR THOMAS GRAVES, / KNIGHT OF THE MOST HONORABLE [sic] ORDER OF THE BATH, / AND ADMIRAL OF THE BLUE, / WHO DEPARTED THIS LIFE MARCH 28th 1814. / ALSO OF HIS WIFE, BRIDGET, DAUGHTER OF PHILIP BACON ESQre / OF BISHOP'S HALL. / IN THE COUNTY OF SUFFOLK, / WHO DEPARTED THIS LIFE DECEMBER 24th 1795. "But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which / are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope." 1 Thess. IV. 13. / "For GOD hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, whether we wake or sleep, we / should live together with him.'" 1 Thess.
