'In memory of Harold L. Lowrie 3rd Engineer HM Transport 'Atlantian' who was killed by a shark while bathing in Colombo harbour. Age 25 years. His leg was bitten. He was picked up and taken on board the P & O SS 'Rome' but died the same day on board the 'Atlantian' 1st April 1901'
