Notes: HMS 'Bulwark‘ exploded while anchored at Sheerness on the 26th November 1914 following the overheating of cordite charges that had been mistakenly placed adjacent to one of the ship's boiler rooms. Out of 750 souls aboard their were only 12 survivors of the unfortunate event.
