'In loving memory of John the beloved son of Jonathan and Elizabeth STEPHENS who was lost at sea in the schooner Fanny Buller April 1874 aged 36 years. Also of Jonathan their son who was lost from S.S. Olga off Gravesend May 27th 1876 aged 31 years. 'They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters, these see the works of the Lord and his wonders in the deep.' Also of James their son who died at Shutta, East Looe September 20th 1893 aged 40 years. In loving memory of Elizabeth the beloved wife of Jonathan STEPHENS who died at Shutta East Looe July 18th 1891. Also of Jonathan beloved husband of the above who died January 29th 1900 aged 87 years. Also of Jane Burns daughter of the above who fell asleep April 29th 1930 aged 93 years 'In God's keeping.'
