KING R.N. THE THIRD GOVERNOR OF THE COLONY / (1800-1806) / DURING THE BICENTENARY OF THE ARRIVAL OF THE / FIRST FLEET IN JANUARY 1788 IN WHICH HE SERVED / BORN AT LAUNCESTON CORNWALL 23RD APRIL 1758 / DIED AT TOOTING 3RD SEPTEMBER 1808 / The Vault and Tablet were originally inside the ancient / church demolished after completion of the new Church in 1832'
