'Sacred to the memory of / Anne Martha Wall / who died 4th of August 1833, aged 7 years and 7 days / Also Harriet Jane Wall / died 23rd July 1834, aged 2 years and 8 months / And George William Wall, / Volunteer H.C.B. Marine, who was drowned / 19th October 1837, while learning to swim, / aged 14 years, 8 month and 17 days. / His unassuming manners and mild disposition / endeared him to all who knew him, particularly / his disconsolate parents, who are left to / bewail his loss. / 'The Lord gave and the Lord hath taken away / blessed be the name of the Lord.'
