'In memory of George Hunter, who died at Glencaple Quay, April the 29th 1831, aged 75 years. Mary Davidson, spouse to George Hunter, joiner in Blackshaw, who died 11 Dec 1818, aged 65 years. Also of Mary Hunter, their daughter, who died 15th July 1796, aged 4 years. Also of William Hunter, their son, who fell in battle on board the Alceste, frigate, off Lissa, 29th Nov 1811, age 26 years. Also of John Hunter, aged 26, and David Hunter aged 19, years, their sons who were lost near Derry on the coast of Ireland, 28th January 1819. Also James Hunter, their son, who died 12th Jan 1864, aged 84 years. Also Mary McKinnnell, his wife, who died 24th March 1864, aged 74 years'
