Notes: The Lowestoft Journal and Suffolk County Record, Saturday, February 13, 1915 suggests that the 'Lowestoft' was mined, as there was no report of a collision and the vessel was very strong. The crew of eight hands were all missing presumed lost; only the body of the captain was recovered.
