Description: Three-light window depicting St Clement with an anchor, St Nicholas, patron saint of sailors, and St Dunstan patron saint of metalworkers. Laing's interests in energy, shipbuilding and oil are illustrated in panels below showing oil wells, RMS 'Mauretania' 1907 (with victor's wreath and blue ribbons) and local coal-mining headstocks.

Description: Two main lights and five tracery lights. In the cental tracery light, Christ in majesty. In the upper part of the main light four angels worship Him. Below four more angels lean downwards blowing trumpets. The lower part of the window illustrates the text 'and the sea shall give up he dead.' Against a blue starry sky with shipping in the background, two angels receive two family groups of three people who are rising from the waves.

Notes: The ship 'Northfleet’ bound for Hobart, Tasmania, was sunk in collision with the Spanish steamer 'Murillo' while at anchor off Dungeness. 291 people drowned, 85 were saved. Casualties were buried at New Romney, St Margaret's-at Cliff and Worth.
