‘To the Memory of / CAPT. JENKIN JONES R.N. / One of the Elder Brethren of the Trinity House / Whilst of a tour of inspection in the Vestal / Trinity Steam Yacht was accidentally drowned in the / Bristol Channel July 14th 1843 Aged 49 Years / Also of WILLIAM BENJAMIN JONES / Son of the above who died after a short illness / Aged 18 Years and 7 months / Not lost but gone before.’
