'This Stone is erected by the Officers and Company of His Majesty's ship Saldanha. Sacred to the memory of Mr Francis Graham, Midshipman, and John Musket, Elias Mier, Sam Greenwood, Wm Calderon, Philip Tell, Juan Perrot, Wm Baker, seamen, who were unfortunately drowned while employed on the King's Service in Loughswilly, January 5th 1811.'
