'To / the memory of / ISAAC WOODHOUSE / Master Mariner who was interred / at Newcastle November 25th 1787 / aged 67 years / and ANNE his wife interred here / July 17th 1800 aged 77 years / also ANDREW their son who was / drowned in the Greenland seas / April 16th 1777 aged 19 years / Likewise seven children who died / in their minority / also HUTCHINSON their daughter / who died Dec 4th 1844 aged 78 years'
