Description: Gothic arched tablet attached with cross headed screws. At the top of the memorial is depicted a three masted barque surrounded by an incised triangular line with loops at the bottom. Below is pictured a boy kneeling in prayer dressed in midshipman or cadet's uniform, facing right towards bunks on which his cap is placed. 'R.I.P.' at the bottom is flanked either side by an anchor. The engraving is infilled with niello.
